What we process

When you paste a TikTok link, that URL is sent to our processing backend to resolve the video and prepare your download. We don't require an account, an email address, or any personal information to use the downloader itself.

What we don't keep

TikTapy doesn't maintain a history of the links you've submitted. Once a file is delivered to your browser, the processing record is discarded — we're not building a profile of what you've downloaded.

Contact

If you email us via the Contact page, we only use what you send to read and reply to your message. That information isn't shared with third parties or used for marketing.

Cookies and tracking

TikTapy itself doesn't set tracking cookies. If analytics or advertising scripts are active on the site, they run through standard third-party providers (such as Google Analytics or an ad network) and are governed by that provider's own privacy policy, not ours.

Third-party content

The videos and audio you download originate from TikTok. We don't alter the underlying content beyond removing the watermark overlay, and we're not responsible for the content itself — see our Terms of Use for more on acceptable use.

Children's privacy

TikTapy is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Data retention

Because we don't keep a history of processed links, there's effectively nothing to retain on that side of the service beyond the brief window it takes to resolve and deliver your file.

Where processing happens

Requests are handled by servers operated on our behalf to resolve TikTok links and prepare files for download. We don't sell, rent, or share the URLs you submit with advertisers or data brokers.

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect information submitted to us, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

International users

TikTapy is accessible globally. By using the service, you understand that any information you submit may be processed on servers located in a different country from your own.
